Research: Eddy Current Array Optimisation

Background: MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Sussex, June 2014. For my final year project, I was part of a team whose objective was to build a small-scale wind tunnel. My job was to design and build a Data acquisition system for the wind tunnel.
The purpose of my project is to establish a structured and quantitative approach to optimising the design of eddy current array probes for various measurement applications. This will involve the design, construction and testing of eddy current arrays on calibration defect samples, and the results will be compared to those obtained using commercial equipment.
