EPSRC Centre for Doctoral training in Quantitative NDE

The Centre for Doctoral Training in Non-destructive Evaluation (NDE) provides exciting opportunities for collaborative industry-university research in advanced sensor and imaging technology. The Centre is jointly sponsored by EPSRC and industrial partners, with students registered at Imperial College London and the Universities of Bristol, Manchester, Strathclyde, Nottingham and Warwick.

Training is provided for both Engineering Doctorate (EngD) and PhD degrees. The Centre has close links with the UK Research Centre in NDE (RCNDE) which involves the same university consortium together with a wide range of UK & international industry and provides student research engineers with access to a wide network of leading academic and industrial researchers in the field.
